Join Us in October At CenterPoint Church in Lexington For Our Fall Gathering

The Central Kentucky Network of Baptists will soon gather for its semi-annual Fall Executive Committee Meeting, a time for celebrating God’s work among our churches, hearing ministry reports, and prayerfully planning for the future. This year’s gathering will take place on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 6:30 PM at Center Point Church, 163 Old Todds Road, Lexington, KY.
The evening will open in worship led by Safe Harbor Baptist Worship Team, followed by a welcome and Scripture from CKNB President Joey Rogers. Attendees will hear updates and ministry reports highlighting the Kingdom work happening across our Network, including
A prayer focus for Menefee County led by Network Ambassador Chris Rieber
A report on Sunrise Children’s Services with Kevin Richardson
An update from Compassion Ministries by Pam Polkey
The ongoing CKNB Prayer Initiative
Staff reports and ministry highlights from David Barron
In addition to celebrating ministry, important Network business will be conducted. This includes reviewing and voting on the proposed 2026 budget, affirming the slate of nominated leadership team members for 2026, and considering new church affiliation requests from Pine Grove Baptist and City of Refuge Church.
The evening will continue in worship through song, followed by the President’s Message from John 9:1–7, “Advancing the Kingdom” delivered by Joey Rogers. The gathering will conclude with presentations, the ceremonial passing of the gavel from outgoing to incoming leadership, and a closing prayer by incoming President Steve Price.
The Fall Gathering is a special opportunity to come together as a family of churches to celebrate what God is doing, strengthen partnerships, and prepare for the ministry ahead. Whether you are a pastor, church leader, or member of one of our CKNB congregations, we encourage you to be part of this evening of worship, fellowship, and mission-focused vision.
