Central Kentucky Network of Baptists Holds Successful Fall Executive Committee Gathering

A Night of Worship, Business, and Vision Casting
The Central Kentucky Network of Baptists (CKNB) held its Fall Executive Committee Gathering this past Tuesday evening, October 13th, 2025, at Center Point Church in Lexington, KY. A great crowd was in attendance for the semi-annual celebration, business, and vision-casting meeting, which began with a Business Session & Worship at 6:30 pm. The gathering was also made available for online viewing.
Worship and Kingdom Work
The evening opened with the song "Glory to God Forever" , followed by a welcome, scripture reading, and prayer led by Joey Rogers, President. Safe Harbor Baptist was the focus of the Menefee County Prayer Focus , and the Safe Harbor Baptist Worship Team led a time of worship featuring the songs "All I have is Christ," "In Christ Alone w/Solid Rock," and "God of the Ages". Attendees were also introduced to new church staff and guests.

Affiliation Requests from Pine Grove Baptist and City of Refuge Church
Discussions on Old Business and New Business, including a Taskforce request
President's Message and Transition
Outgoing CKNB President, Joey Rogers, delivered a powerful President's Message based on John 9:1-7, entitled "Advancing the Kingdom". Pastor Rogers' message reminded the assembly that our primary responsibility is to lead people to the Living Water of Jesus. The gathering concluded with the Presentations & Passing of Gavel from Joey Rogers to the new President, Steve Price. The evening was brought to a close with a Closing Prayer led by David W. Stokes.
