-- CKNB Podcast launches its first official episode with highlights from the Fall Executive Committee Gathering and interviews with new CKNB leaders.
Last Monday Evening, Central Kentucky Baptists gathered at Lawrenceburg Community Baptist Church in Anderson County for the Annual Fall Executive Committee Gathering. The Fall ECG is typically the meeting where budgets and plans for the upcoming year of ministry is set and approved, along with other exciting new business and initiatives.
Pastor Steve Broughton and the good people of Lawrenceburg Community played spectacular hosts, opening their doors and arms wide to all in attendance. They served a delicious meal, provided wonderful worship and pastor Steve (CKNB President) brought a powerful and challenging message on our need for more "But God" moments from Ephesians 2. All in all, a great night to be a Central Kentucky Baptist.
Here are some of the highlights from the gathering...
Minutes and Reports were all received and approved unainimously
The Operations Budget was approved unanimously
David Barron was named the new CKNB Associate Executive Director, a new position created to better serve the network alongside Executive David Stokes.
The 2024 Leadership Team was approved as presented.
