Central Baptist Church Invites Area Youth to Community Rally Sept. 27

PARIS, Ky. — Students from churches and communities across Central Kentucky are invited to gather for an evening of worship, fellowship and fun as Central Baptist Church in Paris hosts a community Youth Rally on Sunday, Sept. 27.

Beginning at 5 p.m. at 762 Clintonville Road in Paris, the rally offers an especially exciting opportunity for churches throughout the Central Kentucky Network of Baptists (CKNB) to bring their students together, build relationships across church and community lines, and encourage young people in their walk with Christ.

The evening will feature games, live worship, free food and real conversations, creating a welcoming setting where students can have fun, meet other young people and engage in meaningful conversations about faith.

Pastor Steve Coleman will be the special guest for the evening.

While hosted by Central Baptist Church, the rally is an invitation to the wider community. Churches throughout the CKNB are encouraged to participate by bringing their youth groups and inviting students who may not currently be connected to a local church.

Events such as the Youth Rally provide an opportunity for students to discover that they are part of something larger than their individual youth group or congregation. As young people from Paris and communities throughout Central Kentucky worship and fellowship together, they can form new friendships while seeing firsthand the shared mission that connects local churches.

For CKNB churches, the rally can also be a valuable opportunity for cooperation in student ministry. A church does not need a large youth group or an elaborate student ministry program to participate. Whether bringing a full group of students or simply inviting one or two young people, churches can use the evening as another way to encourage the next generation and connect them with other Christian students from around the region.

Central Baptist has previously demonstrated that community emphasis through youth gatherings involving students and leaders from multiple area congregations. The Sept. 27 rally continues that spirit by opening the doors for young people to gather around worship, biblical encouragement, fellowship and conversation.

Most importantly, the evening provides churches with an easy opportunity to extend an invitation beyond their own congregations. Students are encouraged to bring friends, including those who may have little or no current connection to a church.

Youth leaders, pastors and families throughout the CKNB are encouraged to share the invitation and help make the rally a gathering of students from across Central Kentucky.

The Central Baptist Church Youth Rally begins at 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, at 762 Clintonville Road in Paris, Kentucky. Food is free, and students can sign up using the QR code on the event flyer.
