Elkhorn WMU Family Missions Picnic Set for July 28 at Edgewood Baptist

The women of the Elkhorn WMU warmly invite you and your family to join them for an evening of celebration, fellowship, and missions at the Elkhorn WMU Family Missions Picnic on Monday, July 28, 2025, beginning at 6:00 p.m. The event will take place at Edgewood Baptist Church, located at 717 South Main Street in Nicholasville, KY.
This beloved annual gathering brings together WMU members, families, and friends from across the region to enjoy an encouraging evening of worship and connection.
Bring a Dish and Enjoy the Evening!
Everyone is encouraged to bring their favorite side dish or dessert for the potluck picnic dinner. Meat and drinks will be provided, and attendees will have the chance to enjoy Edgewood Baptist’s new outdoor pavilion—a perfect setting for summer fellowship!
Evening Highlights:
Special Music will be provided by the Crosswoods Children and Pre-Schoolers, always a joyful addition to the event.
Recognition of this year’s Elkhorn WMU Scholarship Recipients.
A message from Guest Speaker Dr. Michael DeLand, Dean of Institutional Advancement at Clear Creek Baptist Bible College, who will share updates and inspiring stories of the college’s ongoing mission.

Mark your calendar for November 1, 2025, the date of the Elkhorn WMU Annual Meeting and World Day of Prayer. Churches interested in hosting this special event of prayer and mission emphasis are encouraged to extend an invitation.
Julia Woodward Offering for Associational Missions
Churches are reminded that May and June are designated months to promote and collect the Julia Woodward Offering for Associational Missions.
