Equip Leadership Family Cookout July 1, 2025 | 6:00pm Immanuel Baptist Church Pavillion Tates Creek Road Campus
The first Tuesday of each month is usually reserved for our Equip Leadership Lunch, a valuable time for pastors and church leaders to connect, share a meal, and engage in fellowship, networking, and development. But as the summer months roll in, so do some exciting changes to our agenda!
This June, we swapped our usual lunch for a fantastic cookout at Shillito Park, which was a huge hit with everyone who came out. And July promises another unique and highly anticipated event!
An Evening for the Whole Family!
Mark your calendars! On Tuesday, July 1st, instead of our typical midday gathering, we're hosting an evening dinner event designed for pastors, church leaders, and their entire families!
Join us at 6 PM at Immanuel Baptist Church's Picnic Pavilion. You'll find it conveniently located at the back of their property, behind the softball field, right next to their ROC center.
We'll be firing up the grill with delicious hamburgers and hot dogs, complete with an array of fantastic sides and all the fixings you could wish for.
Fun for All Ages with the CKNB Block Party Trailer!
Get ready for some serious fun! Our newly updated CKNB Block Party Trailer will be on site and fully set up, offering a plethora of games and activities for both kids and adults. Plus, we'll have everyone's favorite treats: popcorn, sno-cones, and cotton candy! It's truly an event you won't want to miss.
Last summer marked the debut of the CKNB Equip Leadership Summer Cookout Series, and this year, we're thrilled to introduce the Family Cookout Event for the very first time. CKNB leadership emphasizes that this gathering is a wonderful chance for pastors and church leaders to relax and enjoy time with their spouses, children, and grandchildren.
Welcoming Bi-Vocational Leaders
The shift to an evening event also offers a significant benefit: it provides a fantastic opportunity for our bi-vocational pastors and church leaders to attend a fellowship event that their work schedules might otherwise prevent them from joining during lunch hours.
