Living Hope Fellowship Celebrates 25 Years of Faithfulness, Fellowship, and Unity

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Living Hope Fellowship marked a significant milestone on Sunday, October 4, 2026, celebrating 25 years of ministry in Lexington with a special anniversary worship service, homecoming celebration, and evening of fellowship.
The celebration brought together a standing-room-only congregation of current and former members, families, and friends to reflect on God's faithfulness throughout the church's history and look forward to the years ahead.
The morning began with an open house featuring historical photographs, memorabilia, and opportunities for guests to reconnect and share memories. During the worship service, the congregation enjoyed a special video retrospective highlighting the church's beginnings, ministries, missions partnerships, and the many individuals and families who have shaped its story.

Founded in 2001 under the leadership of Pastor Chris Rieber and a small group of families, Living Hope Fellowship began with a vision of becoming a Christian family of faith. From its earliest gatherings at the Kentucky Inn to its present home on Grace Drive, the congregation has remained committed to worship, discipleship, missions, and Christian fellowship.
An important part of that story has been the church's commitment to unity. Living Hope joined with Life Praise Fellowship in 2003 and, more recently, welcomed Graceway Church through a merger in 2024. Both partnerships reflect the congregation's desire to strengthen ministry through cooperation and a shared commitment to the gospel.
During Sunday's service, founding elders were recognized for their contributions to the church's beginnings. The congregation also honored Pastor Chris Rieber and his wife, Connie, for 25 years of faithful leadership and service.
Pastor Derek Holmes, who became Co-Pastor at Living Hope through the 2024 merger with Graceway Church, delivered a charge to the congregation from 1 Peter, encouraging members to continue living and ministering in light of the living hope made possible through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The service concluded with a special time of congregational prayer led by the church's elders.
The festivities continued Sunday evening with an anniversary edition of the church's annual Fall Farm Party, featuring food, games, and fellowship for all ages.
For Living Hope Fellowship, the anniversary was more than a celebration of the past. It was an opportunity to recognize God's provision through seasons of change, honor those who have served faithfully, and renew the congregation's commitment to its mission.
As the church begins its next chapter, its founding vision remains unchanged: to be a Christian family of faith, united in Christ and committed to serving Him together.
