The Mission Church of Lexington to Host A Day of Worship & Praise for Community & Local Churches

As we enter Springtime, many churches are busy planning for Easter events and looking forward to a summer that is no doubt filled with ministry and outreaches. The Mission Church of Lexington is definitely one of those churches. Although, at The Mission Church, one coming event seeks to offer the local community and churches an opportunity to share in the goodness of God together.

On April 1, The Mission Church will host a special day of worship and praise, featuring a community barbecue / picnic (bring your own meat), an open mic for local church worship teams to lead in worship and leaders to offer testimony and words of encouragement, and a laid back environment for people to enjoy the goodness of God together. The leadership of The Mission Church sees this as an opportunity for the local churches of Central Kentucky to gather together to worship and praise their Savior in a community which needs to see the grace of God on display.

The event will culminate with a special Worship Concert by Christian Country Music Artist, Hunter Erwin. Hunter is a multiple-award winning artist who uses his platform as a musician to also share the good news of Christ. He says that his music exists for the saved to enjoy and for the lost to understand.

The Mission Church energetically invites all who want to be part of this experience to "come on over," on Saturday, April 1. Everything will kick off at 1:00pm. Hunter's concert will begin around 4:00.
