Children Ministry Leader

Thompson Road Baptist Church, Lexington KY is looking for someone to help with Elementary age children. We are a small inner-city church in the Brewery district that is close to Rupp Arena.

We are mainly looking for a volunteer, maybe a student seeking experience. However, the church would be willing to pay an expense/education stipend.

We are looking to mainly have this available in our Sunday morning service, which begins at 10:30, but would possibly expand if needed.

We would keep the children upstairs during worship, and then dismiss before preaching. During worship we would want you to help with the children, and possibly be involved in worship.

The position would involve, a snack time, a Biblical lesson or video, possibly a craft, and just a time for them to enjoy the children’s center. We have a nice area prepared that offers opportunity for play and friendship.
