Job Description
Parkway Baptist Church, Lexington Kentucky, is seeking a part-time pianist to serve our congregation. This is a paid position and requires Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings, Wednesday evenings and choir rehearsals.Â
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualified candidates will exhibit evidence of a mature and growing faith in Jesus Christ and a life of personal integrity, according to the principles of faith set forth in the Bible, the Baptist Faith and Message and someone who will support the work and ministry of Parkway Baptist Church.
Candidates must be familiar with the Baptist Hymnal and be open to a blended style of worship.
Qualified candidates will likewise exhibit strong musical knowledge, proficiency, experience, and excellence in providing support to a music ministry.
The pianist will work with the Pastor and Minister of Music relating to the regular, special and seasonal worship services. (Extra rehearsals and performances for special services shall be considered normal job responsibilities).
