Christmas Toy Project 2022 Ministers to Families Across Central Kentucky

Christmas is almost here! For most, this is the most wonderful time of the year, with parties, and presents and time together with family and friends. Oh, and don't forget some time off work and no school!

But, what makes Christmas so special is the celebration of the birth of Jesus, the promised Messiah. It is the retelling of the arrival of the Son of God into our brokenness and chaos that truly gives peace and hope to us all.

Each year at Christmas, churches from across the Central Kentucky Network of Baptists partner together for the Christmas Toy Project. This annual initiative is designed to extend Christmas cheer, help and hope to families in central Kentucky by setting up "Toy Stores" where parents can buy Christmas gifts for their children at drastically reduced prices. These toys are provided by the generous donations of members from our CKNB Churches. The Toy Project is always a highlight of our Compassion Ministries calendar.

Toy stores were set up at local churches in Fayette, Scott, Bourbon and Jessamine Counties this year, allowing numerous families the chance at providing a memorable Christmas for their children in the name of Jesus.

On behalf of the CKNB, we want to thank all those who contributed to this year's Toy Project. Here's to a very Merry Christmas and looking forward to another successful Toy Project in 2023!
