LexRevive Invites Central Kentucky Churches to a Week of Prayer, Renewal and Revival

As churches across Central Kentucky enter the fall season, many are setting aside special opportunities for worship, fellowship, outreach and spiritual renewal. The Mission Church of Lexington, a ministry partner of the Central Kentucky Network of Baptists, is inviting churches and individuals from across the area to join them for LexRevive, September 16–20.

Centered around the theme “Revive Us Again” from Psalm 85:6, LexRevive will feature five days of prayer, preaching, community outreach and fellowship designed to call believers toward repentance, renewal and a fresh commitment to God’s work.

The week begins Wednesday, September 16 at 6:30 p.m. with a special Prayer Gathering led by Pastor Donovan Stewart. Children and student ministries will meet as normally scheduled that evening.

Daniel Johnson, Regional BCM Campus Minister at the University of Kentucky, will serve as guest preacher for several gatherings throughout the week.

Thursday evening will focus on “Repentance: Returning to God,” drawing from 2 Chronicles 7:14, followed Friday evening by “Renewal: Restoring Our Hearts,” based on Psalm 51:10. Both services begin at 6:30 p.m.

On Saturday, September 19, the focus will extend beyond the church walls and into the surrounding community. The day begins at 10 a.m. with Community Canvassing Conversation Training, followed by community canvassing at noon. The church will then gather again at 6:30 p.m. for a revival service centered on the theme “Revival: Reignited for God’s Glory.” Fellowship will follow the evening gatherings on Thursday, Friday and Saturday with fall treats, drinks and a firepit.

LexRevive concludes on Sunday, September 20, with worship services at 9 and 11 a.m., with Johnson once again serving as guest preacher.

Childcare will be available during the Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening gatherings and during Sunday's worship services. Guests who register upon arrival will also have an opportunity to participate in a door prize drawing.

The Mission Church invites fellow CKNB churches, pastors and members to support LexRevive through prayer and participation. Whether attending one evening or joining the church throughout the week, this is an opportunity to worship alongside brothers and sisters from another congregation in our network and pray together for spiritual renewal in our churches and communities.
