Introducing the CKNB Special Task Force: Shaping the Future Together
At October's Executive Meeting, the body unanimously approved the appointment of the CKNB Special Task Force, a dedicated group committed to assessing the needs of our churches and revisiting the values and areas of ministry focus that define the Christian Kingdom Network of Baptists (CKNB). As we embark on this journey into 2024, we believe that our collective effort will guide us towards a more impactful and purposeful future.
Mission and Goals:
The primary objective of the CKNB Special Task Force is to engage with our diverse community of churches, ministry leaders, staff members, deacons, elders, and pastors. We aim to gain valuable insights, identify emerging needs, and align our mission with the evolving landscape of our congregations. Through this process, we seek to reinforce the foundation of our network, ensuring that we continue to serve and support our communities effectively.
Town Hall Meetings:
To foster open dialogue and inclusivity, we will be hosting four special Town Hall Meetings throughout the month of February. These sessions are designed to be listening forums where every voice is heard, and perspectives are valued. We encourage all members of Network churches, ministry leaders, and stakeholders to attend these crucial events.
- January 30th, 7pm: Crosswoods Baptist Church, Nicholasville
- February 1st, 10am: Immanuel Baptist Church's Winchester Road Campus
- February 6th, during EQUIP Leadership Lunch: Versailles Baptist Church
- February 8th, 7pm: Gano Baptist Church, Georgetown
Your participation in these Town Halls is vital to the success of the CKNB Special Task Force. Let us come together, share our insights, and shape the future of our network.
Prayer Support:
We humbly request your prayers for the CKNB Special Task Force and the upcoming Town Hall Meetings. Pray for wisdom, discernment, and unity as we navigate this journey together.
Survey Release:
In the coming week, the Task Force will release a comprehensive survey to all churches within the network. We encourage each congregation to actively participate and share their perspectives. Your input will be instrumental in guiding our decisions and shaping the future direction of the CKNB.
We are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and believe that, together, we can build a stronger, more vibrant Christian Kingdom Network of Baptists.
Thank you for your commitment to the CKNB community, and we look forward to your active participation in this important endeavor.
Blessings,
CKNB Special Task Force Communications Team
